7:15-7:30 Discuss spike in Melrose violence, shootings, and homicides & how new partnerships between Melrose & OPD may help connect the dots and reduce casualties
OPD provided us with ShotSpotter data between July 9-Aug 6, 2020 and we plotted 99 gunshots that occurred over 28 days on a Google map for you. Check this out and share ideas on how this might help us collaborate with OPD to reduce gun violence. Stephanie to demo & share links w/ members
7:30-7:45 Special Guest Speaker: Oakland Police Department Interim Chief, Susan Manheimer
The Chief has asked to join our community meeting order to talk with Melrose members to discuss rising violence in Melrose and our relationship w/ OPD
