Time for Melrose to Act! What do we want to accomplish over the next 30/60/90 days?

We will continue conversations and plans Action Committees started in the last Sept. 25 Member meeting to begin turning their ideas into actions with letter writing and/or plans to join in person meetings and events to represent Melrose.

7:05-7:20pm Muni Check in / QA to be taken offline (12-15min total)

7:20-7:30pm - Featured Speaker: Suzanne Dershowitz, Neighborhood Law Corps Attorney for City of Oakland Attorneys Office re; prior actions regarding Melrose property issues - she has updates for us

7:30-7:55pm Action Committee Leaders will give a 1-2 minute recap of September's meeting to invite October members to join their ACs for this session:

+ Andre Isler re; Business District & Events / Promotions – business

+ Irma Swygert re; Safety & Accessibility – we need Disabled Access Issues to be resolved

+ Stephanie Hayden re; Public Safety/Sideshows/911 - update on letter writing campaign re; traffic deaths on Foothill Blvd 4 people in 6 months

+ Braunz Courtney re; Letter Writing Campaigns & Public Safety meetings at Oakland City Hall

+ Razzu Engen re; Saturday Litter Pick Up Teams

7:55-8:15pm ACs quickly go around the room and share a 1-2 minute summary of what they plan to do over Oct/Nov/Dec

8:15-8:25pm pack up and clear out of Horace Mann Elementary School building

8:25-8:30pm be outside HM building with doors closed behind us! We've hit this target of closing up on the dot for the last 2 meetings - thanks everyone!
