Mar. 25: Virtual Meeting for Melrose Priorities & Coronavirus Updates

Please join us for our first virtual meeting for Melrose Community Council!

Due to the Coronavirus shelter-in-place order we will NOT meet in person at Horace Mann Elementary School for March’s Melrose Member meeting but we will be using an online service called, “Zoom”, so people can use join using their computers or Smart Phones and see and hear each other online.

We are meeting this way to protect our membership from potential exposures to the Coronavirus that can occur when people meet in the same room. We are also complying with Alameda County Public Health Office’s mandate to shelter in place between March 17 and at least until April 6th.

If you have not heard yet, the most important thing all of us can do right now is to stay at home and avoid a lot of people catching the virus and potentially overloading our Healthcare system capacity.

Here are the two Shelter In Place orders issued today, March 16, 2020 to ensure we flatten the curve of exposure as illustrated in the blue and red wave chart here.
